  The president of AWAM has slapped someone and the organisation comes up with an excuse to make it look okay. This is unacceptable.
  

  First they protect someone who they have found guilty of sexual misconduct by calling the victim a liar and now this! (further information on this can be found here : http://holdawamaccountable.wordpress.com/author/alinarastam/)

  It has gone too far.

  Kindly do take the time to sign this petition. It would mean that humanity, integrity and righteousness still lives within you.

  To all the "Feminist" & "Activist" out there, It is time you take a reality check. I know it is difficult to come to terms with the fact that an organization you championed has got so much skeletons hidden in the closet. If you do not stand up now they will continue on and drive feminism to the grave. It is time to ask yourself why you call yourself a feminist or activist? If you can stand up for a lone voice? does activism only mean carrying placards down the street to you? Is it just something cool that you can relate to?

  It is not too late to do the right thing.
